Description
A compact time-of-flight aerosol mass spectrometer, originally built by Aerodyne Research in 2002 and customized by NOAA CSL. It measures non-refractory submicron aerosol composition (sulfate, nitrate, ammonium, chloride, organics) in about 10 seconds and adds a light scattering module for in-situ collection efficiency; flown on NOAA aircraft including the Twin Otter and WP-3D.
