Description
A modified TOFWERK/Aerodyne time-of-flight chemical ionization mass spectrometer that uses iodide adduct formation to detect reactive nitrogen (HONO, N2O5, HNCO), halogen, sulphur (HPMTF) and organic species such as formic acid, with sub-second instrumental response. Flown on the NASA DC-8 in ATom-3, ATom-4 and FIREX-AQ, and in a mobile lab for SUNVEx 2021.
